Halloween is a programing block that airs seasonally on Boomerang. It launched in 2011.

History

The block launched in 2011. Prior to that time, Boomerang had no Halloween-themed block, instead airing a marathon of Scooby-Doo! called Scooberang in October from 2003 until 2010.

When the block launced it aired re-runs of shows that were previously never on the network, including The Munsters, Casper the Friendly Ghost, Beetlejuice, and The Addams Family, as well as Halloween and horror-themed episodes of their shows at the time. It was also one of the few times that Boomerang aired any live-action programing, namely The Addams Family and The Munsters. This format continued until 2013.

In 2014, the block branded, removing all of the mentioned shows and replacing them with a marathon of Scooby-Doo! (as well as the same Halloween specials that aired before), in preparation for Boomerang's rebrand. In 2017, the block's line-up was altered to remove much of the pre-existing specials. As a result, the block will now be airing for one night only as of 2017.
